Hello guys and gals,
I was at a friend's studio yesterday and found the CT5.
I think it is a really great sounding compressor with nice features, such as easy attack/release mode and no ratio settings.
Unfortunately it's Pro Tools only.
I'm looking for a similar plugin in Windows VST x64 format.
Any ideas?

Hi man, on the sister site you can find massey ct5 cracked in vst format for windows, it's only 32bit but with jbridge you can use it in 64bit, i use it like this and i have no problems.
And for info you can use tapehead like this too.
And sorry i don't know similar compressor for ct5.

 

It's so bad they left VSTs behind. At some point they tested the waters for it, and some of the old demos had VST installers, but now I've just checked their site and it's been totally redesigned and apparently dropped VST support. It'd be great to have access to those old demo installers for non-PT users.

 

Tried it, doesn't work. Every time I open my DAW it shows "Massey Demos are rotten" message. And I don't want to use an illegitimate version in a long term.

I think we need some solid alternatives to those plugins.

 

Damn i was thiking this alternative was good, i have the old legit version of ct5 and tapehead and i have no problems, and if you want legit version it's too late, maybe try mellowmuse cp2v

 

Same here, last vst retails and licenses.
I want to see them "safe" in case of systemchange etc.
(considered as abandonware but paid full license, not funny)
if some out there knows how to get in touch with doctors.

I am not able to replace both, very specific sound and no problem bridged.

 

What's the last Massey demo bundle version featuring VSTs?

 

1.3.... etc if my memory is good

 

On last demo versions I am lost, maybe Citrik Acid hits the spot.

 

I wished that I bought the VST version before they abandoned it.
