I would really like to try this software to see if it is any good.
However, I can't find a version that works!

I tried to use the original X2a version for Sonar a acouple of years ago - wouldn't launch.
Then R2R said they had unlocked it to work on any VST host - it didn't!

Then just this week R2R again released a version that they said would work with their Cloud Emulator.
It wouldn't launch. Said something about (null) not a Win32 application.
(Roland VS.R-MIX.v1.2.1)

Does anyone know of a version that has worked for them ?

 

I have a working version, but I'm not sure which one it is. Quikquak mashtactic is basically the same thing tho

 

That version worked fine here with Ableton, 64 bit, win7. I believe it came out in march of this year on the sister site!

 

Can you give me a few more details please i.e. which version, what host, was it the 64 bit version rather than 32 bit. Which OS (XP, Win 7.....)
I would be most grateful.

 

That version works with Fl Studio 12 without any glitches both on 32 and 64. OS Windows 7

That Cloud Emulator R-Mix is only Standalone. Works for me on latest Win10 Enterprise 64 bit LTSB.

 

Okay. Thanks for that. I wonder if it only works 64bit.

You're referring to the X2a version ? And it worked by putting the dll into the VST plugins folder ?
What OS were you using ?

 

Should run under 32bit because it gives me the Option to execute under XP and is installed into x86 automatically.
