What's new about this complextro and compared to the old electro house?

The old electro house when they use the baseline it was just the one sounding bass line and to make the riff and melody they would just change the notes. Okay, so they play the scale and that would be the the base line.

These days the melody and the riff is not so much changing of the notes, it's changing of the sounds, so you fit sounds together to make the riff and to make it interesting. They're not using you know seven different notes in the scale whatever, you know.

They're just changing the sounds and that is what's making the rough so you can sort of see here I'm looking at my screen everything there's all cut together and all fitting in like a puzzle so that's how all the melodies and stuff are made by changing the sounds.
