Just tried this plugin, as soon as it's instantiated in Sonar, Sonar crashes. Sonar Platinum in Windows 7 64 bit. Tan works, though.

I figured out that the AUT file needs to be in the plugin directory, so I regenerated it and placed it there. Still crashing. Tried Cooltec EQP1. Same result with it. As soon as the GUI pops up, Sonar crashes. Haven't tried it in another plugin host yet. I'd really like to test these two out.

So... latest update. This will load into a new project in Sonar just fine. It crashes in my current projects. Wonder if it's an incompatibility with Nebula itself?

UPDATE: Finally got the latest Sonar release installed. Same result. D361A crashes a heavily loaded project, but will load fine in an empty project. Anyone else experiencing this?

Happens on a very, very heavy project in Cubase and if the latency is very low.

Yes i noticed that from time to time. I Have the d361 allways on my masterbus. What i do if i open a project is before i touch anything i disable all insert effects on the bus than i add them back in. I am not sure but i think something in the input stage of the plugin makes it quite picky and crash the daw.
Try to disable the insert effects of the channel/bus than add it. Than turn them on again. That minimized crashes in a heavy project for me.

Change the xml buffer to the same as your DAW ...this applies to all AA plugins and Nebula... Sorry guys ive not been on here in the last few weeks but my wife has kidney problems and she has been in the hospital for 2 weeks shes starting dialysis its been rough ive been at the hosoital most of the time... Best of luck getting the AA problem worked out just try the buffer out match with Daw on all AA see if it helps

Something I didnt think to try before with the crashy AA plugs. Try hosting them in a wrapper/plugin host? Like bluecats patchwork or nyrv agent maybe. Didnt know about the buffer settings in the XML. Ive read about it with nebula, but had no idea that all AA plugs had that.

@digitaldragon what others said, i.e., heavy projects, buffer and buggy. I like it but before loading it up, I save my project frantically :).

Thank you guys for the kind words and healthy wishes... @subGENRE good call on using Bluecat and Agent for AA it does keep things running smoother... Also yes using same buffer for the plugins as Daw is what AA recommends i remember befor i learned this trick i would get stuttering, pops, clicks, spiking and somtimes crashes befor...now i just modify the xml file for plugin buffer to match buffer in my DAW everything is butter smooth now ;)

Tan is prolly set to 1024 buffer as most or all the new Acqua plugs are by default... Im not positive cause im at the hospital right now but i bet that if you check D361a XML its set to another buffer size...change it to ur DAW buffer...Nebula you can change buffer on the plugin itself but on D361a just open the xml file with notepad located beside the plugin dll change the buffer and save it see how it works for you \m/

Absolutely golden idea! I'll have to try that. Thank you!

So sorry to hear about your wife's health! I can sympathize with you there, brother! I hope things look up for you soon. Let her know strange music people all over the world are rootin for her speedy recovery. In the meantime, keep focusing on getting her better and being there for her. Like the others said, we'll be here when you return!
And thank you for taking time to suggest this, it seems that a wise man told me in the past to try this, and I had forgotten about it, haha. So I will definitely see if this helps!

Thank you so much @Talmi you good people \m/ and @digitaldragon you too bro i hope you get everything running smoother>>> their has been many reports in the past of other plugin conflicts with some AA plugins causing crashes and unstable all around so even if Buffer matches the DAW still could be problems >>> i was thinking wen you said Huge project im sure theirs many other plugs in that project could be the conflicting factor with AA >>> just a thought \m/ Thanks for the good wishes and health i miss all you guys \m/
