Hello to all,
There are some libraries that, when added with the Add Library tab, are displayed correctly in Kontakt, But when I try to load the instrument (NKI), the following text appears: "Your new Library needs to be added before this Instruments can be used. Please go to the Kontakt's Libraries tab and press Add Library Button "... as if the library was not added ... but instead the Library has already been added.
I tried several times to download and reload the library, I also tried to change the SNPID value in the NICNT file ... but they do not work properly

The problem I have with:
-Umlaut Audio PADS,
-Sonokinetic Woodwinds Ensembles
-Sonokinetics Ostinato Strings

Has anyone encountered and solved this problem?
Does these libraries work for you?
Could the files (nki) be corrupted?
Can anyone upload the only Instruments files (nki)? (or send them to a mail address)

which version of kontakt are you using and OS?

 

There is a single fix that fixes many problems in Kontakt, such as libraries disappearing after you've added them. I have the problem you're describing quite frequently. You solve it by replacing the nicnt file with a new one.

 

Windows 7 operating system
Kontakt 5.6.8 (but also with previous versions had the same problem)

I tried replacing the nicnt (I also bought Abiss Kontacted to generate it)

 

It is because you are using 5.6.8 and Native Access is not patched so the library is not fully authorised properly. This is why it is best to stick with 5.6.6 until (and if) Native Access is patched. I am using 5.6.6 and no issues with the libraries you mentioned.

 

Thanks to Bunford, but those with previous versions of Kontakt are not working.
Could you try to send me a copy of the Instruments (rar) files from the 3 libraries? (by mail)

OK this your problem. It sounds like you're using a NICNT that was assigned the snpid. You need a NI-SnpidLocator to see if another library is using the existing SNPID. Remove the libraries listed in the xml and also from your registry.
Go use the 5.6.6 no installer version to install. If you're using Thrill you need to use 5.6.8 if not stay with 5.6.6. Also look under the settings tab in 5.6.8 and goto librbaries and see if the library has been checked off. All those that's not check is installed but won't be seen in the browser window.

 

That's about 60/70GB at least. By mail???

 

Hi Bunford, I did not refer to the entire libraries (which I already have) but only the Instruments files (nki) of the 3 libraries will be 10Mb total, (to be replaced if mys were damaged)
If you can ... I think we can do with WeTranfert ...

Sorry i have another request.
Does anyone know if there is a quick way to move libraries within Kontakt?
Currently I have to select and hold down the left mouse button to scroll through the other installed libraries (which are so many) but it's slow and boring
