I'm trying to make the lead starting in 1:55 with no success, can anyone point me in the right direction please?

 

I loaded a wavetable that sounded similar to the above example. Highpassed it (to remove unwanted lows) and modulated the lowpass frequency (the swells). Basically a bandpass, with the lowpass being modulated.
I also added some amp attack, so that the volume also fades in a bit. Then added a ping-pong delay with about 250ms delay (with the wet delay panned to the right) with low feedback (single slap-back).
That was pretty much it.
It's the lowpass modulation that adds the life to the sound.

There's also a noise oscillator swell added in before the distorted octaved bass comes in.
Nice sounds overall!
