NKS for Maschine member contributions

    We (DKB ,myramalou and myself )have been busy making our own NKS data and thought might be useful to start a NKS thread for members to post and share Image and Data files and Content if available to have Vst and Libraries show in Maschine etc.
    I know some other threads have started

    But i thought id open a new start
    Where possible install all three folders in single file/folder
    For those new to concept
    Windows install-Image file installs to Users/Public/Public Documents/NI Resources/image
    Data installs to Users/Public/Public Documents/NI Resources/dist_database
    Content installs Documents/Native Instruments/User Content


    Mac Install-Image in Mac Hd /Users/Shared/Ni Resources/Image
    Data in Mac Hd /Users/Shared/Ni Resources/Dist-database
    Content in Documents/Native Instruments/User Content

    when installed rescan contents folder in Ni maschine preferences

    I have some issues under Maschine 2 @ windows 10

    The device image is not shown on the Hardware.
    Unter macOS it got it working.

    Anyone else got this issue ?

    what is the image for? there is a few occasions where vst is named different on mac than windows, gforce oddity is one example, if it is that you need to change the meta data to match the vst name?

    Essentially no device image is shown on the Maschine Studio hardware under windows 10
    For example Serum or Avenger

    avenger does not have nks ready data? nor does serum but you ca get on az? is there image files in ni resources/images?

    I ah e created my own resources for avenger an serum which work 100 % on macOS
    Essentially they are based on this collection:

    I also tried his resources for Serum, result is the same, I dont get it working under Windows 10 whyever.
    When back in the studio, i collect all info like filename etc and post it here, probably you see why it is not working

    i havent made for avenger yet fully, serum for me in resource / images is
    main folder name
    xfer records
    and image itself i have three
    serum
    serum_x64
    serumFX_x64
    from memory jhors one is just serum, the meta data in image file must match the vst name, if your meta data says serum only you have to 1-change name of vst if it works to just serum or if your vst name is serum_x64 then change meta data name to serum_x64

    also avenger the vst name is VPS Avenger_x64, meta data name should match or change to match meta data name if it is just VPS Avenger etc

    like with gforce oddity in mac the au is called oddity2_Machox64 or something and in windows vst it is called oddity2 ...

    My images are shown in the Maschine Software (as your picture of serum on db), but not on the Hardware.

    do you know if the Plugin name is related to the dll file name ?

    What you have to take into account when working with both windows and mac is that there's a slight difference in plugin names in meta data and dist_database scripts . A lot will work with both mac and windows but the odd few don't . These have all been tested and made by us , I work on the mac side and have serum working just fine and all the images show up for all the nks plugins we've done ,

    @E.C.R the D-16 package has a hypen instead of an underscore in dist_database name. Might cause a few problems....
    Thanks for the effort you have put in, otherwise.
