Well, as I see it the newer generations of partygoers are the millennials. Short attention span/ADD etc. Formula babies. Used to pushing a button and getting instant gratification. They all get bored very quickly. So most media has adapted to cater to them and the money. Turn on your tv and watch any current show or movie. I bet you cant even count to 3 before the camera angle or scene changes.
With the music, it has taken the same trend. When I started making EDM my tracks used to be 7 mins long with 16bars of intro and outro. For seamless mixing. Melody lines and arps tying the different part together with long transitions.
Now theyre all under 4 mins with new sounds and changeups almost every measure. And you can transition in one beat instead of 4 bars like we used to do. It just a sign of the times is all. And staying current.
They are the new breed of trend mongers and we need fresh fodder to feed them.

Well. Y ou know how many years it took me to realise how simple a Low Pass Filter was to make? It's So stupid because I will give all you young boys an short cut. Right here. Right now. Google this: - Passive Low Pass Filter/ Passive High Pass. Once you get your head around that one then take mushroomes.
