Interesting but i defnitly don't like that "sound", For the famous "call home", many others unsuccessfully used the same trick but you look "lucky" too ;-)

 

Well, If you like aliasing/artifacts, Try ANA. Its got way more than sylenth. Especialy in the high registers.
They addressed this issue in the ver 2 release of ANA and rewrote the sound engine. It will have zero alaising artifact according to them. I cant wait to test it. Might be too "clinical" for some, but nothing that a hefty dose of tube and transformer emus cant smooth out.

LoL, an aliasing plugin? Dial in your artifacts? Like a bitcrusher but different?

The only time I want aliasing was for a special effect. Like astronaut coms breaking up in a spacey intro. Aliasing is bad, it translates to fuzzy unclear sounds in your mix after you polish it all up.

 

I get what you say but sylenth is squicky (?) clean digital sounding (more then serum btw). I'm talking about the osc. The filters are nicely modeled.
If you want analogue dirt go for Diva or Bazille (osc are digital, filters are amazing). Oddity 2 (I might do a tutorial for all at AS now that it is the case, I love this synth) is available to all since a few days. The xils synths (PolyKB III is such a dirty boy...Or is it a girl ?), etc, etc.... All available without bugs or whatever.
If you want absolutely wt functionnalities then Serum is pretty unique (in cracked synth, if you can afford Avenger or Falcon, then you're more then saved, I prefer those to Serum). Or you have the Zebra2 option (take the HZ edition, this way you will have the analogue modeled diva sweet filters in Zebra and get all the WT available on u-he kvr they are free, there are hundreds of them incredible, no need to draw them by yourself at the beginning at least). Also there is a pack with an amazing amount of presets packs available for Zebra on the sister site.
All of that available, and "bug" free, next door.
Or use "digital" synth with the drop and indeed a nice saturator to dirty it up.

I've been able to write a batch installation that overcomes also the NEW PRESET problem as in when you install new presets the time bomb sets off and you get brought to xfer webpage and so on and you have to reinsert the serial number. If you guys want I can upload my version that it's fully working for me, I tested in on other 3 PCs with different Windows versions. Let me know.

 

Make it "official"? Give it to @Horsemen and he'll pack it up proper and give due credit.

still wondering , which of the following possibilities 1) You are in desperate need of Attention
2) You love Serum to death but you don't want to admit
3) You dropped on your head as a baby
4) all of the above


because a) you do not like Serum > but you complain about a bad crack > and make a post about it ...... look at my avatar .... thats my face when i read this

 

not sure what the issue was, been using the cracked version since day one and every update worked for me as well... could been a user install issue you encountered

 

There was a time when I used to have the serum kg on the desktop for easy access. But cleaning it out proper and reinstalling, then properly blocking it fixed it. Works like a retail now. Well sometimes when it still trys to phone home, the gui window will get buried under my Ableton, it doesnt close just loses focus. But thats a one click fix/workaround Im willing to deal with until I buy this thing. If I drag it onto a 2nd or 3rd monitor it stays up, but then I cant scroll through the presets properly (arrow key or mouse wheel) unless its on the main/ableton window/screen. Hmmm, I wonder if thats a bug or the crack? Who knows?

Guys I think hes right. I have a crack addicted Serum and Ive used it for 20 minutes and I am not Deadmoose yet.
