I finally found a suitable and proper job for myself. Thanks @Von_Steyr . I officially swear off pitching the notes up and down inside my DAW and peddle these stuff on the beaches. Within a year I'll be a millionaire.

 

Bass was ok. Ish. Dat kick dough (!) mmm. Liked the snareyations too. Teh ironic toms actually annoyed doh. Ditto arp cheese.

 

Yea, its on ok remix, kick is really controlled yet powerful. I think i saw you in the pool....somewhere...lol

LoL, If I tried to mix a rock track right now....just from doing so much EDM lately, I know it would be bass and kick heavy. The bass player would love it for sure.

 

Nothing special, just when just the bass and kick play the whole spectrum (and some hats in the high end) it's quite usual for the bottom end to appear huge.

Offtopic, last year I was at Ocean beach, nice people indeed

Barely reaches the green from time to time (the perceived loudness I mean) - and this (crazy high RMS and a low perceived loudness) is happening for tracks with not much going on in the mids

Clean mix, with little mids.
And controlled low mids, also called "the mud" in house music ;)

Bass is VERY upfront, even compared to kick. It create something special, compared to most upfront kick mixes
