    Hi gang,

I've never had a problem using VR's soft eLicenser extender (trials set to year2064) on my Windows 7 machines. I'm now using a new Win 10 laptop and I can't figure out how to get it to work. Even if I run the extender app "as Administrator", the app just sits there forever and doesn't do anything. I've tried running it in SafeMode as well - no change. I've tried using compatability mode - no change.

    Can anyone help me?

    Thanks a bunch,

Well, I've found a work-a-round for anyone who's interested. I copied my (previously VR extended) "SelLicenser.sel" file from one of my Win7 machines. The "eLicenser Control Center" complained that (replaced) SelLicenser file was corrupted and recommended that I run the Repair Soft eLicenser utility . . . it worked! :winker:
"Neo Soul Keys" and "WaveLab Essentials" are tickety boo for me. I own legitimate licenses of the two aforementioned Steinberg apps, but I don't like having to deactivate/reactivate whenever I need to use them on a new or different computer.

Out of interest, what are you using the extender for? Does it work on trials for Steinberg's Retrologue 2?

Please re-read my post just above your comment. I listed the two Steinberg applications that I use. :)
Wavelab Essentials & NeoSoul Keys. I don't know about Retrologue 2.
