Do you mean free plugin bundle? We all wish too.. but it's not possible as the hardware is the dongle, wait for the twice yearly sales or use alternatives.

Everyone knows UAD plugins are reserved for gold AS members only. Thank god Saint granted me the VIP pass last month, bye bye Acustica, finally i understand the meaning of Boutique sound.

If anyone else wonders, i do bartender at the weekends. Just some extra money on the side. I also steal from the cash register when no one is looking.

Yesterday, I found a post about a cracked setup of all the UAD's powered plugins. I was so dreamer to download such file and try it, even though I was thinking it could be a virus.

However, when I open the file and start the installation, it doesn't seem to be fishy at all. I wait for a while and it says my computer needs to be restarted, so I restart my PC. Later on, I open Cubase and rescan the Plugin Manager... ALL THE F*CKING PLUGINS APPEAR IN MY LIST!

I get so excited and start loading some of them... This is what I find:



Not only are all of them disabled - I don't own an UAD card - but also it's just a demo. How frustrating is to have a demo and can not try it. At least, it wasn't a virus after all.

Call me dreamer, but I was happy for a moment...

 

UAD plugins will only work with UAD hardware and the only "demos" available are 14 day trials for users who own the hardware.

Years ago there was a time bug on UAD-1 cards that allowed you to set the trials to an extended length by adjusting the system clock on your computer but they have since fixed that. Thats the only "crack" Ive ever known on the UAD platform. Everything else is fake. So you either buy them or you dont. Pure and simple.

 

I would mansplain it to you but I'm a male psychopath so I won't. Nyah. And I've got a UAD OCTO too. Nyah Nyah.

I own UAD. There's no crack no matter what conning Websites try to tell you. After all the money I have spent on UAD plugins and Apollo Twin, I can proudly say that you can spend that much money on (1) another equivalent quality audio interface (RME, Audient, Apogee, etc), (2) a solid computer upgrade, (3) Acustica Acqua plugins, (4) support Chris Johnson's Patreon for Airwindows, and get the same sound quality without being tethered to a dongle of any kind.

 

Its cool though, I've got a UAD card in my pants
