Hey,
I had the 5.5.x for a few weeks and noticed I could just load any library without needing activation.

Now that I installed 5.6.5 I need to activate everything, and R2R doesn't have all the products. Do all you guys use 5.5.x even though theres a newer version because of this?

And what made 5.5.x able to bypass activation? Was that some clever hack by the crackers?

yeah, it's possible to bypass the activation. On Audioz there is a post called Native Instruments Kontakt 5 v5.6.6 Update No Install WiN. Just install that version after the r2r kontakt (cuz it's an update only). Then you dont have to use the keygen anymore.

However, since Kontakt 5.6 has changed quite a bit more than previous updates, you can expect more bugginess from the new version for the time being. I have both and both work well, but a paranoid person in me tells me not to use v5.6.6 for anything serious until there are more updates.
