there is a secret about the augmented and diminished symmetrical scales, they sit right in between connecting ALL major/minor scales(reference Circle of fifths).

MMJ2017, thank you for the unique content, i actually enjoyed reading it myself. :like:
please ignore the unthankful, this is a public forum after all and some members tend to leave comments even though they're not interested in the subject. As you can see there are many of those who actually interested and millions of people will also appreciate your work in the future.

Thank you and let me know if i can help.

Speaking guitar strings would be interested to know if anyone has tried the new Ernie Ball Paradigm strings?
Think they are the first guitar strings ever that are guaranteed against any form of damage for 90 days lol??
Saw a video of Paul Gilbert doing a stretch test and is pretty bizarre to think they will actually guarantee a string from breaking for a period of 90 days? Not quite sure how the guarantee worded etc but they look interesting for sure

Some call it the big internet backup thread. I`ve heard Saint had to travel to India to buy some old IBM servers just to keep up with the amount of data.

    All that scales...
Too often "music theory" seems to be reduced to "hitting the right note".
    The pitch parameter.
There's much more to it imho. It should be about time and timing, motifs, expression, coherence, sound.
Nothing wrong with learning scales and progressions, but don't hope to reveal magical shortcuts.

Music theory just tries to extract some rules from existing music. To know any tradition may often help but sometimes also hinder you to find your own voice.
Myself I'm halfway versed in music theory and i assure you it's no magic bullet. Learning it may inspire you, but it's just one of the tools you can use, nothing more.

timer, i approach music theory as one variable to be combined with emotion expression and I agree with lot you said! (to me all variables are important)
