Hi,

I have moved from sonar to samplitude a few month ago and quite like it (brings a lot of memories back!), and though the GUI has been improved there are
only 2 or 3 skins available (so much for variety!) and I actually only like one...the least I can say is that I'm not snowed
under with choices! lol

so I was wondering whether someone has made a few skins for samplitude X...and if so where to find those? I tried to google for
some but didn't really happen upon anything yet

I don't know exactly where to find 'Samplitude Pro-X' skins, however you should to try to make some searches directly within the 'MAGIX' and/or 'Samplitude Pro-X' User Forums, this is certainly the better place to start... *yes*

By cons, and I don't know if you have noticed a recent article done by 'Tracer' within this brother's site (hope you can easily understand at what I make reference), say, the less 'legitimate' version of 'audiosex.pro'...

For reference : 'Birdline SkinCreator V2.2.0 [For Magix Samplitude\Sequoia v12]'

Included within it are 3 apps to create your own custom 'Samplitude Pro-X' skins !!!

yeah but the price is kinda steep for a skin...25 euros for one...well, I can live with the default one! lol

I realize making skins is very time consuming and after having looked at the soft mentioned above,
I gathered that I'll need a while to make my own, if I ever managed to make it out, but I guess it's worth trying!

Yes, i am looking for good skins for Samplitude too. The truth is that it is not so easy to find.

The Alloy skins are interesting, but a bit old.

The birdline too but expensive for me.
Hopefully some one could post these skins..... So we could try it ....(Message in a bottle)

I have all mentioned before and for the mixer, I am using the Unempty Vintage which is very practical.

Here http://photosyndikat.de/samskins/ you can find some more free (old) skins. Some are Audio oriented (you don´t see the vst in the mixer) .

And this guy Andi have done a real great job, based on the original skins but doing it better and it is FREE: http://skins.metallurgy-studio.de/ but read the instructions first, don´t just throw them in your bitmap folder.

thanks for the links man,i already have the vintage skin but dont really like it...i guess im more into modern lol

as for the dedicated topic, I know about it, but it's already bogged down by useless comments
from people who dont even use the soft so...I reckoned I had more chance to get an answer if I posted my own! *yes*
