My latest waves install is causing Pro Tools 10 not to open, they work in in PT11 and Cubase but not pt 10 for someone reason, any ideas how to get it to work ?

 

removing the latest waveshell seems to allow me to open PT10 but of course no waves, there is other waveshells there but not opening any plugins, does anyone know if the newest release next door has 32 bit plugins working with PT 10? I rely on the 64 bit also inside cubase and PT 11, but most sessions run out of PT10 for compatibility with other studios.

 

Can't say for sure, I've got 12.5 with the Waves Collection before last release installed, but maybe disabling them for Pro Tools only should go something like this:

Nav to C:\Program Files\Common Files\Avid\Audio\ (or maybe C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Avid\Audio\ for PT10?).

Open up [Plugins] folder, move [Waves] folder from inside there to [Plugins (unused)] folder. Undo when using PT11, I would guess.

Hope dis worx... not completely sure it's correct, either...

Thank you , i got the pt open by removing the last waveshell.. I really need to get an older version of waves for PT 10, theres not way of running an older version simultaneously?

 

Any solutions guys? Need to get a working version for the pt 10? Anyone know if the latest windows release next door is working RTAS?
