I'm having a problem mapping certain plugins in Reaper. Reaper learns the midi, but it just doesn't correspond with certain plugin parameters. I even had a problem where the mono version of the Waves SSL Channel works perfectly, but I can't get one of the EQ bands to respond in the stereo version. I know Reaper is pretty deep, so I was hoping this was an easy fix. Any ideas?

First of all, don't use Reaper's built-in MIDI mapping. Use this:

Thanks guys, I got most of my problems sorted out, but some of the Waves plugins just suck with Reaper's mapping. I will definitely check out ReaLearn. From what I've read so far it seems like a great solution.

On a slightly different note, do you know if anything like this exists for Pro Tools?
