Pick any chord name (the little blue bars), hit any key on the keyboard (to get chording results for that key), watch the results for both keys and guitar. What a time-saver!

The only things we truly need are to breathe, drink, eat, and excrete waste. Everything else is optional.

It can be helpful to those who don't know how to spell chords, but nobody needs it. Besides, if you open this up every time you need to find a chord it's going to seriously impair your workflow.

Very useful, even if you already know some scales since there are a lot more and uncommon ones.
Reason 9 is doing something similar within their DAW:

Is there a possibility that you develop the tool as a vst plugin? Good work, greetings.

@Jeanphi, I really like the piano/guitar integration on the website. It's very useful for finding alternate positions for the chords. I hope you'll move the mobile app in that direction with the guitar and keyboard integrated so they could be switched between. It'd help us guitar players trying to learn keyboard or vice versa.

Wow, THIS really is next level, because it not only shows you the chords and plays them back. It also shows and plays back the inversions and displays a whole lot of different matching scales/chords. Thanks for sharing!

@Jeanphi Welcome to the best audio forum currently online :)
Thank you for this VERY helpful software. I can imagine this going in alot of useful directions, esp. if you develop it as a VST :)

There is a little app that i'm using since a couple of years it's called Nut Chords 32. Windows Only.
Both Chords mode and Scale mode. Just select mode and select wich one you need.

I hear what you are saying, Nothing beats putting in the hard work to better one's self and some stuff is just not going to be required for some musicians, A person that strictly plays only covers for example and makes a bit of money in a covers band isn't going to need nor want to change anything about what they are learning as it was written and recorded as one example.
However if such tools like this we're available (along with the affordable quality instruments that are around these days) then I would of been able to develop much, much faster.
This sort of tool is great for expanding almost everyone's vocabulary/arsenal or war chest to deploy when and/or if needed.
I could see it being a massive aid to library music creators that are needing to impart a specific regional sound to some of their pieces as another great example whereby they have a myriad of very well, deeply sampled instruments that are authentic but their simply not familiar with the scales to apply whilst writing. Same goes for those doing audio for picture/post work.
The only manner in which any musician improves is via putting in the long time and long term practice, I'm always for more things which aid that and there is always room for improvement, Strengthening the areas I am weaker on is something I try to focus on.
I'm fine on any stringed instrument but particularly guitar and bass guitar, However I'm rather crummy with keys, I'm cack handed (and footed), However I learned to play guitar and bass as a right-handed person, That has not at all translated well into playing a piano or any MIDI controller, It is so frustrating that I quite literally want to switch hands (So that my left is on the higher keys and my right is on the lower keys). I've been working away trying to improve but it is not happening with much haste, Still it won't stop me on my pretty old, pretty nasty Korg K49 controller which is in need of upgrading/updating to something a little bit better. To clarify though, I did not expect to simply sit down and be able to play like a virtuoso on a piano or controller but it has been much more of a frustrating endeavour than I thought it'd be.

All the best and to all as always, Cheers
