Rob Papen's plugins have been updated. Install the newer versions it'll automatically update the NKS presets to work.

@tgunz020707 I haven't been keeping up with saving presets like I thought I would. I got caught up in creating custom presets from scratch and that kind of took over my life.
I had started to use JitBit's Macro Recorder to speed up the process with automation. I also saved each preset in a category like Bass or Lead or Pad in folder named after those categories to keep things organized in the User Content folder.
Record yourself saving ONE preset, use Save As and make sure you save it in the right location then you can speed up the mouse movement and replay the automation as many times as there are presets in that category. Be careful setting the mouse speed to instant, unless your PC is uber fast the windows won't appear fast enough and the recorded mouse action will do stuff you didn't intend.

Never tried making NKS presets but they so cool & love Komplete Kontrol
Is it a difficult or time consuming process?
Can anyone recommend a good article or guide on how to say recreate existing presets rather than custom ones etc or is that a stupid question lol.
Kompletely new to nks :rofl:creation sorry lol as real bad :(
In all seriousness is something that actually quite interesting as in the process itself :dunno:

@Kloud In Maschine it's as simple as right-clicking the Instrument name here:
    upload_2017-3-11_1-34-0.png

scrolling down, selecting Save As and choosing the save path.

To automate this, most plugins have a preset browser so open that and with JitBit's Macro Recorder record yourself selecting a preset, (double-clicking or right-clicking should allow you to rename the preset but you're not actually renaming, just selecting the text) CTRL+A to select the preset name, CTRL+C to copy, right-click the instrument, scroll down to Save As, CTRL+V to paste the copied preset name then save.
The very first time you do this select 'Show Path' and click on the folder to set the save path for your .NKS files.
    upload_2017-3-11_1-46-41.png

Once you set this path, all presets you save will go here. So save your first preset and set this location. I would create directories for Bass, Lead, Pad... and so on.
Record yourself saving the second preset and make sure the last action you record is selecting the next preset. Then you can repeat this automation as many times as you need for all your Bass presets, then set the Lead directory and save all your Lead presets in there and so on.

Or you could do it manually one by one which is slower but allows the opportunity for Tagging.

If you do automate just watch for things like scrolling to the next preset because the macro recorder follows an exact path on the screen and you could find you're saving the same one over and over. There's usually an arrow to go to the next preset that is always in the same place so it's better to use that.

Diva is awesome for NKS because the newest version can batch convert entire banks of presets from the plugin itself.

Yeah thanks so much for the presets. :)
They are awesome and thanks also for the info Pinkman
Didn't realise it was that simple etc but it sounds really interesting.
Especially the tagging part as is a real useful feature. I know many were upset when they stopped Kore 2 with tagging etc in favour of the newer machine system but have never really explored this area at all.
Gonna definitely give this a go later today as is something that I know will find cool and also useful.
Thanks again & gonna deffo get trying to convert a few presets & banks

    Place the files here:
    C:\Users\username\Documents\Native Instruments\User Content
then re-scan the User Library in KK.
If you select the actual entry above you can choose to scan ONLY that location as opposed to every single path in your User Library location.

A lot of these were made before the plugin had actual .NKS support, meaning they were each saved manually.
Now that more plugins are NKS compatible, the developer usually rolls out an update so the old .NKS files won't work anymore.

Poly KB and ARP2600 are XILS and Arturia respectively and both have .NKS support now. Install the most recent versions and it will install the presets automatically.

The official .NKS plugins/presets will show in your Factory plugins instead of User (which is where most of these manually saved presets show up)

If you save your own .NKS, it automatically maps everything for you. This is why .NKS is so awesome.
Try it with something that isn't .NKS compatible and experience the awesomeness (then share, yeah?).

Some of the download links here (Omnisphere for instance) are incomplete illegal versions from Freelancesoundlabs.com. These are demo versions you can download direct from our site and can donate for fully tagged versions that have all presets included. Some of these only have a handful of presets. We have Omnisphere, Sylenth, Trilian, Korg Legacy, Xpand2, Loom, Vacuum Pro, Hybrid3 with all library's, expansion library's, installation documentation, artwork and support included with the donation. Support the guys like me who spend the time to create these. Support available on the official NI forums.

We are very disappointed people are using our work for their own gains especially given the HUGE task of programming scripts to actually convert these for everyone. Donations keep our files hosted and give ALL donors free updates and support.

Do the right thing and buy me a hard earned drink.

The links are to dropbox from the site and I have already registered a takedown request with them.

I am simply trying to shed light on the actual owners of the intellectual property which is being ripped off from my site. I skipped the FAQ because I have no interest here other than to protect my own work.

I think people have a right to know where to get the genuine up to date files over someone hosting them themselves?
