Hi fellas,
I'm having an issue with the latest R2R maschine update v2.6.1, i can't load any factory library kit after installing this update but all expansions work flawless?
I've reinstalled everything from scratch but unfortunately no go, I've never had any issues with previous updates, i'm stumped on this one.

I'm using windows 7 64 bit

Any help guys would be appreciated

 

EDIT AGAIN: EASY FIX :
1-install keygen from version 2.4.0 and select only Factory Library ( which is present in that one)

Same here.
I looked into the registry, i can confirm that the factory library entry is missing the registrations keys (SNO, KEY, SYSTEMID)
Cannot confirm it was like that or not before update
Also : everytime i start maschine, it's trying to connect to the internet, even it it is blocked by my Firewall. (Kontakt is also doing this since last update).

Just checked and yes in regedit those keys (SNO, KEY, SYSTEMID) are definitely not there?

 

Use the Maschine Keygen and select 'Maschine Bundle' then hit Register.
If that doesn't work try manually editing the strings and enter the generated info from the keygen:
Serial Number = SNO
System ID = SYSTEMID
Authorization = KEY

Works as supposed on mac but since mac has no registry this must a pc only issue.

Maschine and Kontakt tries to connect to the net even if you disabled usage statistics. You have to block it.

 

Block outbound connections in the Firewall for both Maschine 2 x86/x64 and both ScanApp exectubales.

 

Interesting yeah check reg keys like mentioned Bundle like mentioned has to be registered SYSTEM ID for bundle & Factory library be the same etc & should be Maschine content reg key though? What about manually adding Content Directory reg key with factory location?
Lot's seems to be changing with NI stuff

 

how do i go about doing this on a mac??!!

Whats the addresses of kontakt and maschine to block in the hosts file.

 

Found a solution --
>revert back to your previous version.
>goto regedit and export the "Maschine Factory library" keys.
You should also make a backup of the NI folder while your at it (it saved me from rolling back to previous version)
>Install 2.6.1 update
>Add the keys you saved

let's see if i got this right?
Revert back to 2.5.6 - register the maschine and maschine bundle with R2R keygen -fire up regedit and export the factory library keys.
Then install 2.6.1 - register with the R2R keygen maschine & bundle or just import the saved factory library keys from 2.6.5?

Or just save "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Native Instruments\Maschine 2 Factory Library" BEFORE you update.

You might as well back up this also : HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Native Instruments\
Saved my life twice
( If you reinstall windows some day, you wont have to reinstall all your maschine's libraries if their path hasn't changed)

My guess is just add the reg file after update.
Since everything else was still registered (except Factory library).

You need to use Little Snitch or another program that can monitor Apps trying to gain access to the Internet.

 

After the 2.5.6 install there are no keys located at "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Native Instruments\Maschine 2 Factory Library". The only thing in there is "ContentDir" and "ContentVersion". Any ideas? All maschine versions of the r2r keygens create keys for every other folder but not the Maschine 2 Factory Library folder in the registry.

v2.5.6 works with factory lib version v1.0.0 or v1.3.0 and expansions.
v2.6.1 works with expansions but not the factory library v1.0.0 or v1.3.0

--IF YOU DIDN'T MAKE THE BACKUP :

>You need to use the old keygen ( might work with the new one )

-- INSTALL 2.6.1 update
-- 3 --
-- INSTALL the *.reg file created above

You should also make a backup of the whole NI folder while your at it.
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Native Instruments\
( saved me from rolling back to previous version )
(you could install this *.reg file if you reinstall Windows and keep library at same location- that way you wont have to reinstall all libraries)
