Hi

Just about to switch my DAW to another computer and Im having serious problems finding all the presets for plugins like eqs, compressors etc I´ve done on my old DAW computer!

Where exactly do I find my presets, so I can tranfer them to my new DAW/computer - The old DAW is still up running!

there is no standardized location for user presets. you're going to find them scattered all over your computer. some vsts store them in the same folder as the program. others will create a folder in your "my documents" file. others put them in a hidden system folder called "programdata". others put them in another hidden system folder buried inside your user profile (C:\Users\yourname\AppData\Roaming).

these are just the ones i can think of off the top of my head. good luck.

In addition to realitybytez good suggestions, you could try searching your drives using whatever suffix your presets use, like fxp etc.
