If you're referring to that "grainy/metallic" touch, is a bitcrusher/sample rate reducer combo - I think is stock in any daw

 

Also a capo is needed for that pluckier sound

 

I refer to the tone of the guitar itself, how to get the same tone thru guitar rig or maybe another virtual amp?

It's not a real guitar. It's a synth, with bright stereo slap delay.

 

Yeah don't think there is any guitar that way. If there was it just a bit of plinky, compressed chorus type sound, that you can do pretty easy. Bit like a bit of syncopated funk style strumming down the neck. Personally like written above, don't think it is a guitar to be honest. Sounds real, real synthy if it is.
