I already have stated this in other post, people that uses Vengeance samples always sound the same.
You have some nice sounds there, but, it all sounds the same.
In todays electronic music it's all to much "Sample based". I don't mean that you're not creative or something like that, but the sound itself looks all the same.
Long time already past since N-Joi, Illuminatae, Hardsequencer, Underworld..... and so on.
I already stop to use samples for some time, as my music was turning in a constant loop (Sounding pretty much the same).
Now I program myself the drum machines and the synths. It takes some more extra time, but in the end, it sounds far better.

BTW: Keep up the good sound. ;)

Thanks for listening guys, really appreciate it. @Darth Vader, where in the past I have been guilty of using Vengeance samples, there are actually none on that track. The bassline is programmed from scratch, the lead over the top is a patch I made in Sugar Bytes unique, the drums are a mix of some old school breaks samples and a chopped up Sample Magic Loop.

We didn't write Sex Noise with the intent of being the most groundbreaking act out there, we just wanted to write something fun to dance to, which when we play live gets a good crowd response, and to be honest I don't think the crowd really care where the sounds come from as long as the music is good.

I understand your point regarding using pre programmed loops, and that's something I keep to a absolute minimum in our tunes, check out my profile for a list of hardware that we use also :)

Remember, Never use samples. Imitate them if you absolutely need that sound. Using samples takes away your uniqueness, and it will make you lazy in the long run.

lol not like that. But when you keep using samples, you will eventually get put to the test to make a song; and the first thing u look for is samples. I've done it in my past, and screwed up and lost thousands of dollars... I'm just saying limit yourself bro :P

Thanx, my sentiments exactly, as long as you are using samples in your own way, who cares?
