As we see, Klanghelm recently updated VUMT 2 family (v2.1.1) and MJUC (v1.1), so I saw comment published today on gearslutz by tonhelm (Tony from Klanghelm) answering what he is working on:

Updates, updates, updates. Next will be SDRR2 and then DC8C3. All of this will still take a few months. As for new plugins, I do hope to release an EQ before the end of this year. However that timing is veeery optimistic...

So, new will be:
- SDRR v2 (saturation plugin)
- DC8C v3 (advanced compressor) with new features/improvements like resizing, a proper preset browser, lookahead, a proper knee control, automatic gain compensation and more (this new features list quoted from another his post)
- brand new EQ (the end of 2017 or beginning of 2018), probably it will be a vintage tube MJUC-like style equalizer as mentioned before
- and several updates this year for existing products.

yep, he mentioned he's gonna make vintage tube EQ in the future. in the style of MJUC, same framework.

 

That's nice to hear! It will be interesting to see an EQ from Klanghelm. His plugins sound top of the line.

 

Hopefully not yet another Pultec emu.

None of Klang plugs are really an emulation of any specific brand or device. It may be inspired by some, but not a direct copy.
