hello guys i was working with midi notes and i'm a noob in this, so i want to know if it's possible to do legato, slide and hammer on in the midi editor of reaper. I don't have a keyboard to use the wheel or change the playing style, so if you know, tell me how to do it. Thank's

Read the manual of Modo Bass.
You can do it as long as your instrument can play such articulations.

    It isn't a Reaper issue.

The articulations are controlled by midi notes.

Look bellow the playable notes, - it is in the manual -

yes i find it, but for slide you have to use the whell, and for vibrato and slide legato it seem that you can use cc control. How to change this controls and assign a midi note for that options?

CC sends continuous control messages. A midi note sends note on, note off, and velocity messages. So as far as I know you can't send cc information from a midi note. Perhaps you could use automation.

Maybe use parameter modulation and just hold down the mouse button and move the mouse?
You could use ReaControlMIDI and assign the parameter to your mouse wheel but that's kind of ghetto.

If you have an android or iOS device you can create virtual wheels using faders in a MIDI control app and assign it to the parameters you need.
In Lemur there's a specific pitch bend message and for the modulation wheel use CC01.

Haven't tried this in Reaper but maybe the Y value of the trackpad..?
Not having a MIDI keyboard really does limit your expression because all you have are static on/off messages.

This is a little insane but how about PureData or GlovePIE and a sidewinder?

    Or just use automation.

This pinkman fella is pretty sharp. Always thinking outside the box. His suggestion reminded me of a program called JoyToKey which will allow you to use a video game controller as a midi device. Surely you have one of those lying around.

There are also apps like TouchDAW and TouchOSC that turn your mobile device into a midi controller.
