I thought people couldn't hear that high (22khz) in the audio spectrum...unless you took some good acid lol

We updated The Legend VST/AU to v1.07. This update introduces Legend FX, an effect plug-in to allow The Legend’s high-quality filters to be used as an insert effect in your DAW. Furthermore, a MIDI Learn feature for knobs and switches (right-click) has been added to override the default assignments.

They did the damn thing as far as duplication goes. The hardware sound is just a bit darker. Thing is.. the mini moog d doesn't amaze me in this day and age. Second, did they use one from the early 70's or one of the newly built ones to come up with this?

• A bandpass filter mode with two slopes, 12dB and 24dB.
• The bandpass filter is based on the same transistor ladder model as the lowpass filter is, and thus shares the same saturation characteristics.
• Support for Velocity and Aftertouch on the back panel. Velocity can be routed to volume or filter, Aftertouch can be routed to the modulation amount or filter.
• Factory library extended to 480 patches (about 60 patches are new).
• Minor bugfixes.

The Legend for Windows and Mac (VST/AU) costs $99 USD. The free update is free to existing users.

 

The patches are sort of similar, but the difference is obvious.

While it's cool to have Mini options, how many Mini emus are there now?!? Arturia, NI, G-Force, U-He, Steinberg, etc. . . .

I'd be far more excited if someone took a crack at some of the other Moog greats . . . Source, Poly, Multi . . .

 

I guess, it depends on synth's popularity and longevity among keyboard players.

Decided to buy the Trilogy instrument first as it's 1/4 the price and quite different sonically from anything I have in hardware in my studio. If I'm into it I just might return for that Polycom PolyMoog instrument. Thanks for the heads up on these guys. ;)

Guys? I think it was just me.

 

I bought it back a few months ago and have been enjoying it, though of course I would rather have the real thing, but it's close enough to play the blues.
