I'm amazed with what is considered a "mastering grade" quality these days. Marketing talk and polished GUIs [3D perspective corrected for more even more of "real", while looking at a flat monitor ] to go with can do wonders on people minds. Nevermind the ears. Who's got good ears, great speakers/headphones, and a good room to listen in anyway...

Just sayin'... I'm a well renowned party pooper when it comes to new stuff of any kind.

 

You know I agree with you to a point it's like the new Cubase 8 and up. They made the GUI better yet the new features a lame.
You have to run Aeroglass just so Cubase can run not a fan of Areoglass either. I can give a rat's A^& about a GUIi prettiness I want to make music, that is why I dumped it and jumped to reaper also.

 

However, you can have a mountain of burgers, and a cart of healthy food... which one do you choose? I'd rather choose quality over quantity every time.

 

Me too. But not for bin bags. Or kitchen roll. And maybe socks.

I know two people who are sort of millionaires and they don't seem to give a fig about quality. I find it interesting. I'm poor and I care.
You must have some concessions to quantity over quality?
