Cracked plugins call home?

    I thought this might be of interest to a lot of people.
    Do teams like R2R and Audio Utopia remove the "calling home" parts of the plugins in their releases?
    I know they remove the protection and even fix bugs, but no one seem to mention if the calling home is deactivated.
    Are they safe to use online?
    It would be nice if the .nfo files included info on this.

    Is there a list somewhere of plugins that call home, or do not call home?

    I don't know which ones call home, but I generally just block my VST host and the .dlls I'm using with my firewall.

    I'd say LSD- Once (over)consumed you'll be willing & able to use those glasses all day long, not to mention your life :woot:
