Totally just bought 2 usb drives.. one for Yosemite... which I am gonna try on my Mavericks Macbook, and new iMAC... the IMac prolly has Sierra but not sure yet... it;s still in my trunk... but I bought it in Sept, and THAT is a long story about why I still have not gotten it runnin,

P.S. oh yeah, the second usb recovery is Mavericks.

 

Are you sure? I know the newest Logica requires atleast 10.11 El Capitan to work with. Why Mavericks?

Plus you can create USBs by yourself, tons of guides on the net. Plus it's more rewarding if you do it yourself.

 

Cannot make a usb of a version you dont have I guess that is the reason. Cannot get all old versions from the appstore

 

I'm sorry but I'm not sure what you are taking about. What did you buy and what does it have on it?

 

I'm gonna tell you but it's a secret, so don't tell anyone: Everywhere in the net you can find retail OSX versions just google them...

exactly.... although... what a dumbass I am, I have Mavericks on my MBP.... didn;t know I could do that.... oh well... 18$ aint too bad.

 

Are you trying to upgrade the OS to an unsupported device?
