[Unknown Compound Stream Type]

    I'm assuming you read this article.

    If you've tried loading a temporary project file from a crash report folder and still had no luck, try opening a new set then loading each individual track from the corrupt set using the Live browser.

    With Live's browser navigate to where you saved your project and expand it. You should see a 'Samples' and an '.als' folder.
    Expand the .als and you should see each individual track you had in your old project. Load these into your new set one at a time.
    You'll probably find one or more tracks that won't open. Replace the devices/plugins in these and use Save-As to update with a new project name.

    You couldn't load any tracks from your project folder into an empty Live set with Live's browser?

    Yes but all the hours of mixing is gone!
