Hello People! I am mainly a Logic pro user but I do play about with live to learn more about the DAW. When I am trying to open project file I get this error message: [Unknown Compound Stream Type] https://audiosex.pro/attachments/sc...9/?temp_hash=f79562b8fc2489154bc139f245730603 Was wondering if there's a fix for it? I'm a OS X user. apart from sending to Live support. Thanks
I'm assuming you read this article. If you've tried loading a temporary project file from a crash report folder and still had no luck, try opening a new set then loading each individual track from the corrupt set using the Live browser. With Live's browser navigate to where you saved your project and expand it. You should see a 'Samples' and an '.als' folder. Expand the .als and you should see each individual track you had in your old project. Load these into your new set one at a time. You'll probably find one or more tracks that won't open. Replace the devices/plugins in these and use Save-As to update with a new project name.
Cheers fella I'll look into this when I'm back in studio. See how far I will get. I did read that artical I was feeling frustrated at the time. I'll get back to you!
You couldn't load any tracks from your project folder into an empty Live set with Live's browser? Last edited: Jan 30, 2017
