I'm new here, I found this site because I was looking to find a copy of Waves AAX Plugins to work with PT11 and 12. I currently use a cracked copy of Waves Mercury but its RTAS/AU only. I was on PTHD10 until last month, when I stitched to PTHD11 with an HD Native card and none of my plugins now work natively as AAX. I bought the Bluecat Patchwork/32 Lives combo and it lets me use my RTAS Waves plugins, but I have to use it via BlueCat's GUI. I really would like to avoid doing that, as I have a control surface and I can't control plugins that are within Patchwork.

I asked someone to give ma link to what people call the Sister Site, where apparently I can download the right Cracked version, but people think I'm some Waves Piracy Cop.

So I'm at a loss. I could really use some help, can someone give me some advice on how to become accepted as a legitimate user here just like the rest of you?

Thanks for chiming in. I'm not having any luck with the names of sites you mention. The only one that even comes up as a site is Kickass, but that one has tons of different ones, not sure which one is the real one. When I google the others, nothing like a torrent site comes up.

I was able to find some, but none of them seem to be seeding. Is this normal? I only have experience with the Pirate Bay, and never had an issue with anything seeding from there.

You could always use Google and look for Waves and R2R.

 

I've not had luck with that, I really don't m is what I'm doing. I get the fight club and promise I will take that seriously. Another member, a moderator I think is helping me, he sent me a link, I had to join Usenet.ni, 14 day trial, and I get to the files, when trying to download, it looks like it wants to but seems stuck.

Does it sound like I'm doing things right?

I e only had experience with the Pirate Bay, it was all straight forward then.

Does anyone in this forum even use Waves plugins? They made the Q10 Equalizer 24yrs ago and still list it for $99? You should contact Waves and ask why 2/3 of their products aren't free to begin with.

 

I'm not trying to start a fight, but something tells me you're not really up to speed a lot of waves plug-ins. They're actually outstanding plug-ins, depending on which ones were talking about.

 

I Understand the point about not asking the way I did, honestly I'm at a loss, I scoured this entire site, reading everywhere, trying to read between the lines to figure things out, it's not easy. Well, not easy for me. There is one guy that I've been going back-and-forth with, I'm pretty sure he's a moderator around here, and he's been incredibly helpfull!!!

 

Waves plugins are not up to speed with me. The list of plugins I use is small, mostly for formatting, metering, and non-destructive processes. No fight or challenge intended.. none of that. Hope you find what you're looking for.

Yup. Recently I've been testing DMG's track meter from the track range plugins they just released. Using the "loudness meters" setting on the master bus is great to have fullscreen on a side monitor. Looks very professional with all the details straight to the point. And on track channels that Klanghelm VUMT deluxe is real nice.

 

Is it forbidden now to talk about our sister site AudioZ around here?

AAX only works with cracked host - according to all the nfo's.

Simplest solution? Use a different DAW and get cracked VSTs?

 

Honestly, I'd pay someday $50 to truly help me figure all this out. I realize that all of this is so easy for all of you, but I've spen the last tow day, and simply am getting no where. I've probably joined 10 sites for free trials, and everything I try gets me nowhere......

 

I am stuck with Protools due to my HD Hardware and Control Surface, so AAX is my only solution.

 

What I can't figure out, is once I find the files, how to I actually get them downloaded?

With the Pirate Bay, all I had to have was UTorrent, sleet the download, it went straight to UTorrent, and downloaded, easy as pie.
