I have a problem with DMG Audio plugins. No matter what I do, they allways causing crashes. What to do? Any idea?

 

Yep.... Stop using them. There are a lot alternatives for these plugins.
Or you can use another DAW.
Solutions are so simple....

 

Latest versions both for s1 and dmg audio plugins? Older dmg plugins sometimes crashed.. In Reaper new ones work fine

 

Are you speaking of all DMG plugins? The only ones I've noticed trouble with are the new track range plugins.. notably the track meter. They seem to crash if loading them or switching presets while the daw is playing back audio. I have to stop playback first, then load or switch presets to prevent the crash.

 

Some time ago I tried to use Equality in Studio One, but its behaviour in this DAW was erratic. When I used the mouse wheel to set EQ frequency or gain, it skipped ranges.
The same plugin works great in Reaper.

 

I'm using them in S1 with no problems at all.

 

Me too with S1 v3.3.1.

Are you on mac or pc ?

 

New releases of DMG and S1. I am PC user.

I was on win 7 and now win 10.
I never had/have any problem with DMG plugins,that's strange.
Paradox,do they crash your other DAWs ??? Maybe you would try it.
Is it the latest bundle?
Do these plugins crash S1 since you intalled them ?
The bug is when you use vst2 or vst3 ??
Etc....

 

I had in issue with a recent R2R DMG bundle, which unloaded a hokey set of VC++ runtimes onto my machine (I suspect DMG not R2R). Had to pull off the bundle with a Restore Point.

 

The latest cracked release of Studio One (3.3.3) came with a corrupt VC ++. Certain Plugins and video games wouldn't load. After many attempts to correct this, uninstalling the VC, programes etc, I still had the problem; it infected certain dlls. Had to reinstall windows from scratch and then download S1 demo from there site.
