I tried searching here around but I didn't find anything related: I have two libraries that didn't wont to be loaded because looking for .ninct files. One is Orchestral tools-Orchestral string run v2.
There are inside 4 files

• Orchestral String Runs_info.nkc
• Orchestral String Runs_info.nkx
• OSR2.nkc
  
• OSR2.nkr

The library worked perfectly till some time ago, but now, after kontakt 5.62 installation, it doesn't load asking for:

• Orchestral String Runs.ninct file.

Installed new 5.65 kontakt (version that doesn't need R2R kgen), but the problem still remains.
I solved it making a copy of

• Orchestral String Runs_info.nkc

and renaming it as

• Orchestral String Runs.ninct

but this doesn't seem a great solution, even if it works.
The same thing to the other library, same working solution.
Anybody with same issue and with an explanation?

 

XML or k2lib number issue, Are you on Mac or Win?

it's working and thats great, but there is a library using the same SNPID as OSR 2

 

it looks like more you installed Native Access .

 

u tried nicnt instead of ninct or is that a typo?
Could also be in registry I guess
Ah i see u solved it. Sorry thought u meant at first it wouldn't load full stop.
Yeah could be a reg conflict i guess like Introninja said.
Have u manufactured a nicnt in the past then batch resaved or something? Mite have added reg info etc if u have.
Does that library require a nicnt as in it player or encoded. If u on PC check registry info etc

At least in the copies I have, Orchestral String Runs (V1) registers with NKX file, not with NICNT. So strange, very strange, a SNPID repeated when you register with NKX file. Never in 300 cases on my collection.

If you have problems with Orchestral String Runs (V2), registered with NICNT not with NKX, try with this:

And you can see it clear. But I don´t use Kontakt 5.6.X of course.

Native Instruments (HomeCooked TinyToolz 1-6)-TRACER - Useful Kontakt tools

If you can't find the SNPID in the master list go to C:\Program Files\Common Files\Native Instruments\Service Center and look for the .xml file for the OSR 2 library. Open with Wordpad/Notepad and find the SNPID. You can then use the SNPIDLocator in HomeCooked TinyToolz to search for that specific SNPID to see if there might be another library conflicting with it.

Or just use the .nicnt @celtic3342 just posted above while I was writing this. He's been doing this a while. He knows what's up.

There is a NICNTGenerator included if you want to make your own. Just try to use the official SNPID to avoid future conflicts.

 

I have similar things happening: Orchestral String Runs asking for nicnt although it was working perfectly until then, same problem with Sonic couture Glasswork/Novachord (I think I never had nicnt files for these) and Ondes but this last one is asking for _info.nkx file.I will try the OSRun celtic posted, thanks Celtic!This is weird, I'm still on Kontakt 5.5 and didn't add libraries so don't know what happened.Before I already had and still have some wallpapers suddenly not working anymore......

 

I know; and it was registered and working in this way before.....before I don't know what.....

It's just my issue........

Those are one AZ. Search keyword: soniccouture
Glass work and Ondes Martenot are both on version 2. I can't remember if version 1 used .nicnt or simply had nkx/nkr/nkc.
Maybe that's why you're not finding them?

If you have the original libraries already just download and apply the (NKS) updates. These are small and update the original library for use in Maschine and Komplete Kontrol and give you a brand new .nicnt
Make sure you follow the update instructions included because certain files go in certain folders. Don't just copy and paste the whole thing over the original.
You can also find them on dnoid.

 

Tin Tin:No Maschine but Komplete Control v.1.7.1 (R49) is installed but I was seeing those librairies with it already installed.Mac OS X.9.5
Pinkman: yes I have applied NKS versions except for Soniccouture Novachord ( not sure it's NKS ready), I'll look into it again and report back.

So, I could find again Soniccouture Glasswork and Ondes, add the nicnt and it works again, orchestral string runs 2 also.Couldn't find the Novachord.Thanks to all.That doesn't explain why they disappeared........
