So I just picked up Heavocity, and I had the DVDs, deleted them thinking I could install the library from my hard drive, after extracting everything. Well, it turns out I got this error:

Does anyone know of a way to install anyway? I really don't want to have to re-download 14 GB...

should have read the instructions y0.
If you still remember the ISO label and folder structure for the DVD's
just make some new ISO's. problem should be solved then.

What I did was just extract the content myself, I don't like using the installers. To do this you need to have 7zip, which will allow you extract the contents of the library. Here's what you do:
    1. within the files you extracted from the disc, there should be 3 folders with the extension .pkg at the end. Open each one and navigate to the file "archive.pax.gz" and open it up in 7zip.
    2. Extract the Archive.pax file that's inside. It will take some time as these files will be upwards of 4gb's each.
    3. Next, open the archive.pax file with 7zip, and inside should be the contents of the library. Extract the Library to wherever you want to put your library.
    4. repeat the process for the other two archive.pax.gz files that are located in the other two .pkg folders.
    5. Once done, just combine the library folders if you extracted them to separate locations. If everything went right, then nothing should be overwritten except for the folders (obviously).
    6. Open Kontakt and add your library.

I always install libraries this way, and I've never had a single problem thus far. Hope this helps.

There are many other kontakt lib that also need the installer in order to work so dont take for granted that extracting iso:s will work everytime..
