So the ol' question how to start a fight about guitarists? Wait until someone doesn't have a shredder on the list?...
Even if this wasn't your intention this thread will end up in some sort of bar fight. Maybe not within the first week but soon enough someone will post a list that triggers someone else to explode. Guitarists are like this. Always fighting. Over everything.

And I will help you out to get this fight:
    Geordie Walker
    Django Reinhardt
    Daron Malakian
    (Steve Morse)

No wait, i've changed my mind.

Now its Clapton, Di Meola and Hendrix.

Give me a couple of minutes more and it'll be Hendrix, Page and Paco de Lucia.

Theres far too many great guitarists to just choose 3.

Best i ever saw live was easily Paco de Lucia in a small smoke filled club in Seville back in the 80's.

  15. For me, gosh, there are and have been so many amazing pickers. The three right off the top of my head are Adrian Belew, Frank Zappa and SRV. Even if we were each to list the top ten it might only scratch the surface and never express the depth and sheer number of amazing artists in our midst and those whom that have passed that dwell in our minds and still inspire us.
