    Hi

Anyone in here using using this technology?

    If so:

What hardware do you have firewire/Pci?

Is it posseble to run this Pci MKII with Win7/64bit?

What do you think of the free plugins that comes with the driver?

I have a PoCo Firewire running on a Win 8.1 machine. I only bought the MD3 bundle and I use it to process mixes with ProTools. Had to convert plugins to 64bit with JBridge to load them in BlueCat Patchwork, thou.
Still have to download the new "unofficial" drivers TC posted a few days ago.. no 64bit plugs but they assure compatibility up till win 10 and macOS Sierra. Having everything working was a PITA, as 1394 legacy drivers were not signed. Wonder if anyone tried the new update.

    Interesting talk A3C thanks

I own a PoCo Pci MKII and was wondering if I should try to sell it if the drivers couldn´t run propper in Win7.

    I´ll give it another try!

Btw: What plugs are you using - beside the MD3 bundle?

I used to use Dynamic EQ, but I replaced it with the BX Dynamic EQ. And the reverbs, of course. They have been replaced by UAD2 ones (I own all of them), Eventide and Valhalla. I don't use PoCo for mixing anymore. My main DAW is on a mac, I have a PC just for recording the final mix, processed with the MD3 and other stuff.

Works fine for me on Win10... although now the DAWs are slowly stopping 32bit support, so the end is near. It's a shame.
