Why don't most people here share their musics?

Since we're all being honest here, here's my reason for not posting my music. Mainly because i'm kind of hesitant to. In truthfulness, I've wanted to multiple times but there are so many knowledgeable people here and my work doesn't yet compare.I've only been at this for 5 years.

It's not crap, but i hear people's songs, particularly mixes, and get self-conscious of the response I will get if i post mine (particularly because of the gear i own and underwhelming music i sometimes make with it).

I created this beat i'm writing lyrics to, and have been wanting to ask someone on the forum if they would mix it for me, or at least help me improve the mix, but have been too shy to . I'll post the song below here. If someone is willing to work with me on this project, that would be nice. Let me know and i'll send the stems.

I wonder if pornstars wanted to keep their pussies just for themselves, now we did not have any industry today. I can not even imagine that boring world.

I'm always happy with your comments. You're so cool and easygoing. A humor I've always wished for it.

Oh, ..apart not finishing tracks, lazyness etc. I see another big concern about posting music here:

    F E A R !

Well, I got news for you: If you don't give a fuck about taking selfies /w illegal stuff on your monitor or even giving "in the studio with..." for FM magazine /w clearly visible pirated stuff, and the list goes on and on... Hell if you even give a fuck about what might anybody think or say or do if you suck dicks in public high on crack cocaine (if that's your cup of tea), then you should find another hobby.. because you'll very likely NEVER EVER get famous. :chilling:

I even will be more famous in that situation. More eyes would be on me. There is not just one way of making money. Music loving and living for it in any condition (even you'd be a pirate) is what can not be taken by the government or anyone. Also copyright laws are being respected moderately in just some countries not the whole world.

BTW a big thank you to all that posted music.. it was a pleasure and a privilege to enjoy it. And to @foster911 that started this thread - you must admit you didn't know it would turn out so productive

And even if I was famous, I'd say something that would stir controversy & a potential uproar. Given the jokes I tell, they get mixed reactions. Some people get furious at me and others will laugh hysterically. And if you know me, you know I would literally rather die than give up my right to brandish my humor like a hat. :winker: Political correctness doesn't scare me. For this reason I'd probably lose my career in a heartbeat.
You know how they say "Actions speak more than words"? Well in the sense of the liberal media & the Paparazzi culture, it is the polar opposite of that now. Words speak more than actions, right is wrong, wrong is right, love is hate speech, hate is what people love, loyalty seems to be a forbidden gem, and it doesn't so much matter if your music sucks or is brilliant. If you look "decent" & all the 12 year old girls find their clitorises while looking at you, then you could make a 3:47 song out of nothing but chihuahuas farting & it would be played after every song on the radio. "Next up, Taylor swift *plays taylor swift*" "Now, for the new hit single... Swaggo De Farto! *plays it*" and the cycle continues.
Then in order to keep your career rolling when you're not making dumb car alarm pop "music", you gotta do promotional ads.
This is why I kinda wish I was British. Something tells me my music would resonate better in the UK since I have more fans there than I do in my own country (USA). Lol
Can you see why I love my new avatar? :lmao:

Honestly, I'm just really not trying to get shit on by anyone that is so threatened just by the existence of any new comer that they can't offer even constructive criticism. I want to always strive to make music for myself and until that changes around here I'm good with just selectively sharing with friends that I've made on here.

Wait, are there people here who legit fear of being "caught" if they upload their tracks on SC ? Guys, i know a few people who have made it big time and they all have used pirated stuff. They have sent pirated stuff to labels. No one will identify that slate digital 76 or waves j37 drum bus chain. ffs..

I think that's just a bullshit excuse tho. I've said many lies to myself in the past about why i don't wanna do something, but never of fear of being caught with cracked software. No label would ever ask you if your shit are cracked or not. They will never ask you to identify samples, unless you're using something that is totally obvious like sampling a famous record.

And again, if your shit are that good, no label will resist signing you. Even if you have never ever owned a legit license. They'd even buy the shit for you.

Wow that's the biggest pile of bullshit I've read today.

I mean I could write a long reply about why that's bullshit, but really, you never presented any reason why your opinion is true, you just threw a wild conjecture into the fire. So just let me reassure anyone who reads this: you CAN become famous if you give a shit about the consequences of your actions, and you will also avoid being fined or imprisoned that way.

But hey, if you like prison buttsex, go for it!

I really don't know how some archaic beliefs being formed inside our mind. We live in the year 2016 with the gigantic pluralism but when you listen to some people's remarks, you get disappointed.

Having a spurious fear of copyright infringements is one of those beliefs. Suppose how many talents have been suffocated by not demonstrating their great competences and capabilities.

BTW, If you got stuck in those bad situations (eg. being arrested and condemned to life imprisonment), just give my name and tell Foster deceived us into stealing the materials from Audioz.

@SOKRVT Yes, I believe there are truthfully afraid.. no BS. (Just look at the post #100.. I will not go in to a debate that leads nowhere)

But what surprises me even more is how many are really really "afraid" that they have made that big tune, a certain hit.. and that tomorrow they will be filthy famous (with consequently N.I. raping them afterwards..)

What the hell are you even trying to say? that we don't stand a chance of becoming famous? that there's no chance that someone would link our music with our admissions of piracy? that big companies will not sue us just to make a show of it? just come out and say it instead of hiding behind emojis and mockery. Or you can't, because that would mean you will actually have to defend your baseless claims?

There's nothing to mock about not being short-sighted.
