    Hi Audiosexers,
I'm getting ready for a smaller project for my non-commercial internet radio. The gist is to play 3-4 traditional carols from every European country, instead of playing through the same national carols every year like other broadcasters do. However it's no easy task so far - finding the names isn't that difficult. Specific CDs and artists who performed those tracks, that's totally different story.
If by any chance you live in Europe, could you help me in this little endeavour? Just write the names of your most favourite (traditional) Christmas song and who recorded it, so it's easier to find.
For those who'd rather not disclose their location in public, PM works too.

Thank you all very much in advance. :mates:

As the broadcast will take place during 24th and 26th, I'm in a bit of a hurry.
    Still no luck so far.

    Hey, Andrew.

Not sure if your radio show will contain a Presenter's vocal links between songs or not. In the case that you might require some background on the traditional Welsh form of "Plygain" carols, this link may prove useful...

Rather than tire yourself with the extensive text, you might like to scroll to the bottom of the page referenced above and play the embedded videoclip. The context of the song concerns the birth of the Christian Messiah and, in a typical folk tradition, references Biblical passages that would be well-known to regular church and chapel congregations.

Merry Yule and Blessed Be - etc.

Tino Rossi, il est né, le divin enfant

I liked this one when I was a kid..;It's a christmas carol but even non religious families like mine appreciate it (at least we do), it's very popular in France.
I didn't know you wanted to do an internet radio, it's a nice project.

I've been doing it for a while, since 2004. Not very often though, it was always a struggle to get even one listener and authorities wanted to cash in on this purely non-commercial project as well. Fortunately, I have found a workaround that'll last for a while.
