Hey everyone,

I used to be able to use Pro Tools | Control on my iPad thought Eucon with the AudioUtopia Pro Tools 12.5
I accidentally updated the iPad app, causing a mismatch, which threw an error whenever I tried to assign the app in the Eucon manager. Then I downgraded the Control app back to 1.0.7, hoping that would fix things, but no luck...

Is there anyone who knows what I might try to get it working again? Thanks!!

My setup
AudioUtopia Pro Tools 12.5.0.395
Eucon 3.4
Pro Tools | Control 1.0.7 (on an iPad Pro, iOS 9.3)

 

Have you tried trashing the preferences?
Do an install repair and then trash those,or vice versa then restart P.t
Restart when prompted during the install also.(of course)

 

Hey OP! Could I get you to upload version 1.0.7 somewhere for me? I updated my app and everything went to sh*t for me too. I haven't been able to find it anywhere! I would be eternally grateful if you could upload it (.ipa file) somewhere so I could revert my app version too.

Thanks buddy! It's super easy if you hook your iPad up to iTunes you can just drag the app (.ipa file) right off the iPad and onto your desktop. I wish I would have done it myself but I was hasty in updating and I haven't been able to use the app since!

Once again, I'll be eternally grateful 8) I've reached out to Avid and even PT Experts and no one knows how to roll back without having that .ipa file.

Man! After finally getting ahold of 1.0.7 I'm now having the same issues as OP. Eucontrol 3.4 is now telling me it's incompatible with PT Control 1.0.7. I've tried uninstalling, tracking all the files I could find (Applications, Preferences in root and under user) but it's still giving me grief.

Anyone else figure out similar issues?

 

Indeed, trashing prefs and reinstalling did not solve the problem... Other clues, anyone?

 

Looking for same rolled back version of this AVID CONTROL 1.0.7.ipa - I know this is an ancient post but thought I'd ask - can't find it anywhere and new one wont work.

i have a super old version of it on my ipad 2 and ipad min gen 1 that doesnt even support the new versions so it hasnt updated. not sure how to do it though.
