If im not misstaken so did Wolfgang Kundrus leave the company for other things. Matthias Juwan is still around and they have done good things together with Presonus. Like Studio One.

Thing is people in that segment are jumping ships back and forth. Creative minds do that. And of course most of us look after ourself when we get opening for new and better paid jobs. So its not that strange. Sadly visions of things are left behind and what have been created may take other directions than first intended. When they worked at Steinberg (Nuendo i think) it was a big hole to fill. The same for Presonus. It takes time to find replacements but as MYC said now S1 is in a really creative state. They should and im sure once the new guys have got into it S1 will be just awesome.

On the other hand, the more complex things get the harder it is to not run into problems. Ive mentioned earlier why C9 didnt get the unlimited FX and sends. Mostly caude they havnt found a good way to implant that so C9 is compatible with older versions and vice versa. Once they manage that it will come. Its not about beeing stagnant in my opinion. Its about beeing creative but still care for what is already implanted and works for their users. S1 had functions that is now gone and i believe it was only implanted for one version. Good call id say as long as its not improving the DAW.

    Night guys.....

Yea, i might have contributed to the religous daw wars as well, but have learned my lesson and now respect people`s choices.
Need to try the fat channel ,thanks for the tip.
The problem is, we tend to look for negative aspects way too much, rather than just taking it as a great tool and its pretty damn good if you ask me, getting fonder of S1 each day.

you can use FX channels, you can route your track in a Group channel, so many ways to have as many FX insert as you want.
the alternative would have been a new CPR format which is a big price to pay, maybe in version 10 they will add all this stuff and more.

well, talking about Serum, it's the slowest and cpu-heaviest synth in the market, a lot more than Diva.
