When I think about it: that's not completely true, as long as you can afford to hire someone.
All our gadgets have made producing cheaper, but not necessarily more comfortable or efficient compared with collaborative efforts. I probably should wish to find musicians that like my stuff, which again means: I need more time for music, to finish my personal demos.
