Studio One 2.0.5 and humanization

    Good morning my friends...

    I have a problem with the humanize function of Studio One, when I apply it on a midi track the playback engine skips some chord notes, the same thing happens in the bounced tracks!

    Do you know how can I resolve?

    An example of what I'm saying:

    Without "humanize": View attachment a.mp3

    With "humanize": View attachment b.mp3

    This humanize function obviously applies at least some randomization to the tone's start time or duration. If the end time is quantized to close to the beginning (or even to the same tick) of the following note with the same pitch, it could happen that the first note's "key up" event slips behind the following note's "key down" event and the tone is chopped off.

    A solution would be to shorten the MIDI notes a bit before applying this function.

    You are right Olaf, the note's end was too close to the start...! :wink:
