Hello everyone!

Anyone know how i can acheive this Tom Roll used in this song at 0:16 seconds.

I use logic pro + and kontakt player.

I have tried toontrack and abbey road drums so far and cannot acheive this using these.

Would love to hear your suggestions.

hmm, it's not really a 'tom roll'...

ok, my suggestion:
get this video on your hard drive, extract the audio, extract the audio between 15-20 sec., calm down, let a cool software detect the transients 4 u and make some slices, ...make it slow & listen well...

the first three hits are just snare drum ... a few tom hits between, ok ... maybe it is more from a kind of jazz kit. try pitching up some tom samples and listen what happens... keep them dry.
it doesn't really sound like Toontrack's rock or metal kits (hehe) - I guess you should concentrate a little more on the snare sound...
