Looks really cool. I'll stick with IL Gross beat, as it's somewhat Timeshaper + Volumeshaper with better features to make it a playable multi-effect. But this was a logical next step for cableguys, and the price is right.

Edit: the multiband stuff is a neat take on it though. I like that. That does set it apart from the pack a bit. Didn't think of that at first. Good move, cableguys.

Oh snap - they just released new versions of panshaper and volumeshaper as well, with extra little add-ons for the effect rack. And free to owners of the previous versions. Good day for me. Maybe I'll get timeshaper after all.

Thanks for posting this. I was just trying to sell my Volumeshaper license. I guess I'll hang onto it long enough to find out if I can get much use out of the new additions

Damn! Dan Worral video. Thanks God I have spent all my BlackFriday budget. :)

  8. Cableguys stuff just works so well, and the under the hood the wheels and gears tie into each and every gui seamlessly and logically. Timeshaper looks to be no exception to the rule.

Yeah, I copped it the same time you did. I didn't know about an update. So, thanks @Dom PabliTTo

Their plugs are very user-friendly, and that multiband editing is tits. Thinking about getting the others, now. Does anybody use ShaperBox? I have seen a few companies applying this 'rack' method. It's logical, and I'm anxious to start using it. I'm used to the one-off method I have used since I started.

Very nice thank you for the news.
I've installed shaperbox, I currently have volume shaper, panshaper they added widthshaper to the updated plugs and they all are in shaperbox when I open it. You can only view in shaperbox the plugs you own or view all the plugs. You can make chain with all your plugs in the order you want, only one, two whatever. They all appear in the bottom of the shaperbox interface when you click on volume shapper for example the good old interface of VS appears in shaperbox just like it would with VS4 before. Same way to do curve as before, there are more models included you can also define midi keys to load curves etc...
It's really nice it allows to chain those and work them coherently without the need for racking in ableton, when I use ableton, or using bidule in my other daws. The use in CPU seems low, as usual with cableguys.
It didn't cost me a penny and I'm glad I upgraded (and widthshaper is really cool too, great freebie with panshaper).
I'll probably buy the rest of their plugs, well at least I will get time shapper it looks sweet.
    Cheers !

  13. Looks like it but with more logical control. I love Wavetraveler but it is so very unintuitive to me that I just have to leave it it gather dust. This on the other hand might give me a handle and help me get a grip on it.

well shaperbox just came out today I think so it remains to be seen. I'm thinking about getting timeshaper now. I'll demo it a bit, which is conveniently built into shaperbox (but kind of stupid that my paid software will forever sport demo versions of other software unless and until I buy the rest of their products). IL gross beat does its job quite well, but as I've often said, Image Line VSTs have a hard time cooperating with just about anything but.. well... FL studio. This appears to do pretty much the same thing except it's a little more intuitive, has visualization, and probably actually stable in Live.

  15. I am contemplating buying the bundle (that fucking Worral sweet talking to my wallet, again, there need be a law against using him to advertise product, hypnotizing the poor among us to throw money this way then that). He gives a pretty good deal for the lot which includes the synth which is really darn nice. I tried it a long time ago and found it, like the rest of lot, very intuitive to to create just what I want to, easily and quickly. Payment can be made with PayPal or even by wire, which is pretty cool.

So I've basically been sleeping on Cableguy plugins until now... had no idea how incredibly bang for the buck these plugs really are. I went in today ready to buy Filtershaper and ended up getting the whole bundle. The fact that Timeshaper just got released is an added bonus for me because I was contemplating buying IL Grossbeat but wasnt down with the price. Glad I waited

Yeah. I was pretty impressed that all my stuff got upgraded for free. Granted, I don't know that I'd have paid much for the update at any rate, given that it really didn't add features except the effect rack architecture... which, don't get me wrong, is cool.

But yea the bundle upgrade price is $142 for me. Barely more than Curve 2 itself. I'm gonna wait and see what Cubase 9 looks like and if it doesn't add anything I really want, I might get the bundle. Filtershaper looks real nice.

Ive always loved their plugs. Well designed interfaces with cool wavform displays. This is a nice addition, does this mean all their plugs will eventually get the multiband section? I hope so.
Whats updated in the old ones?

Yeah... was a close call. I had it up for sale already. If someone grabbed it before I spotted this I would have felt pretty stupid.
