what reference tracks did you use? I think the majority of the decisions are good, but the snare doesnt sound too good atm. (Obviously might not be finished yet).

I would suggest other reference tracks as well:
Skyharbor (Best Reference):
- Evolution
- Out Of Time
- Chemical Hands

Good Tiger (2nd Best Reference):
- Where Are The Birds
- All Her Own Teeth

Periphery (Possibly a bit too heavy, but these guys made Get Good Drums and are kinda one of the founding artists for this type of prog minus the vox):
- Too many tracks too mention

The Helix Nebula:
- Sea Of Suns

Animals as Leaders (Also super influential, this one is more for the tone of the guitars):
