Is there somebody good with vocoders? I'm trying for 2 days now and I'm not getting even close.

I do understand vocoders a bit it's just the sound of the carrier and maybe the type of vocoder that i need.

 

you can test Reaktor ( Razor ) they are some great presetson it or Waldorf Lectro (The best ) but is not cracked *yes*

I don't know if you're a MAC OSX user, but if yes, you should to try and 'spend' a few time with 'Logic EVOC 20 PS Vocoder', as you can in some cases, come close to what you're looking for.
Simply use your voice --> Microphone as 'Carrier', then at the same time, play some well chosen notes (preferably in harmony) with a MIDI Keyboard as 'Modulator'. Try and experiment for a while. After some practice, you'll certainly get some results even if not totally as 'perfect' as these of your provided example.

In case you're rather a PC user, the same can be applied with an other Vocoder VSTi Model. Just follow the same scheme and method...

Ableton Live's vocoder is very easy to use, tweak and u can get pretty much any voceded sound you want out of it depending on what you sound modulate your vocals with.

Thats what i used.. I tweaked and tweaked and tweaked. Even with TAL-vocoder, Orange vocoder, Robotronic and my Electrix vocoder (hardware) but I can't find the right carrier.

 

I'm not a VOC genius but I think that the effect on 'Freelove (Wink vocoder acapella) Depeche Mode' that you posted is an easy use of basic Vocoder.

You should easily get it with Matrix from VirSyn, ELS Vocoder from eiosis or, maybe, even with Orange. Try the right procedure.
