Right, Like an ear plug that can train your ear instantly to hear the analog magic, why it sounds better to you. And not to forget perfect pitch as well.
Sure is fun to play with magic plugins though. This thread pushed me to try out old stuff again that I passed over when I was still a nOOb and didnt know anything. And to take Sie-Q and SAND for a real spin. so no harm here.

Magick is very real. I don't advocate it's use.

Complete opposite as I'm all for love and selflessness.

Sci-Fi is seen to predict the course of human history.
    Post Science-Fiction = Spiritual Fact.

Here's one because I love you all:

The EXACT number of breaths you will ever take in your life was determined and counted before your birth.
Control your breathing and you can control the length of your life.

Like turning that LFO rate up to 8 bars.

I installed the 96k lib for them. My project is at 48/24. Im going to try the 44k libs now and see if theyll work and an empty project as well.

They'll load in an empty project, but not in a busy one with all frozen tracks except the busses and returns. Probably either conflicting with another plugin or some memory paging issue. Well I'll try again after the mixdown with the 96k libs.

    Tan works though. Core8
    Trinity and d361a are Core7?
    SAND is Core9?

I really have no idea what Im talking about..LoL

Kush Audio Clariphonic is really nice indeed (mk1 & mk2), also SIE-Q is quiet good.
I tested the waves TG12345 some years ago and even i liked what i heard, it wont work on "everything" unlike the uad curve bender (so i used it VERY rarely) and i rather would recommend other eq`s especially for the (mix-)bus. It doesnt have the definition and punch like the UAD version when you boost the top and low end. The UAD Curve Bender is one of the very few plugins that really adds "analog vibe", WEIGHT and DEPTH but it acts kind of transparent instead of changing the source material in a way i probably wouldnt want. In the very few cases where the curve bender doesnt work the UAD Manley Massive Passive does its job (also nice in combination with clariphonic eq afterwards to add presence). I think NI also did a massive passive emulation in their Premium Tube Series bundle.

other plugins which can do "magic":

UAD Massenburg MDWEQ5 (very transparent and preserves everything, for example the phase with long notches/cuts)
Maag EQ4 (great to add air in the upper mids + high frequencies)
Sonnox Envolution (probably the best transient processor plugin)
Empirial Labs Arousor (sounds like hardware + insane amount of gain reduction possible)
Audified u73b (v2?!) (best tube comp emulation IMO, UAD Fairchild mk2 is great too)

    Dave Pensado:

I use U73b Compressor on most of my mixes. Magic.

I've noticed crashes from D361a within Sonar Platinum 64bit on a 44K project as well. Same situation, all tracks frozen except the one I'm trying to add it to. Several instances of Nebula on the 2 bus and drum bus. It works when I insert it into a blank project, though.

After testing out a lot of different plugs on my drum bus, including PSP Mixpressor 2 (my go-to bus comp), I settled on IK's fairly new G-Comp emulation. I've had an SSL G-Comp via Waves and since I use Digital Performer, they also have a pretty decent G-Comp emulation, but I've always dismissed it. IK's version seems to be the best balance between keeping the transients and attacks and balancing out the rest of the kit.
