    Hi!

For ducking/sidechaining, I use VolumeShaper 4. I'm wondering if Wavesfactory Trackspacer2 is a better tool for making space for instruments (and clean mixes)...

    What are your thoughts?

Is Trackspacer2 only a nice tool or has it totally changed your life by enabling you to create better mixes than with VolumeShaper4 or multiband compressors...

How about the fact that Trackspacer splits the signal into as many as 32 bands? (does it degrade the sound quality?)

    Best!

    The do things differently.

VS4 does single-band sidechaining. Trackspacer does multiband sidechaining. You could give it a spin, but on some very difficult material I have, I might need thousnds of bands of SCing, and Trackspacer doesn't work for me (and neither should VS).
