Did you receive a serial or notification from Waves?

 

Two e-mails. The first to notify me the 'gift' (what a ugly UI) and get the second for the serial number.

I can't believe they sell that 'tool" at $79,00.

I got the same one.

It actually looks pretty useful, but yeah, fugly gui and very old. Like I said, probably no one buys those anyway.

i think supertap delay is from 90s (!) but at least it is free (or normally only $79)

this is also from the 90s and they still charge €349 for it !!!!



they also make a tape saturation plugin, possibly from the late 90s, but i think maybe early 2000s that sells for €399!!!! maybe Waves are the good guys after all??? (no)

The old Waves Plugins do all click when adjusting something, the should fix that in the scope of their update plan

Seriously, how old is this plugin? is there somewhere I can find the dates of plugin releases?

 

I'm still using the old Waves Diamond Collection on a G4 sometimes and have never noticed a single click.

 

Hey at least its not another shitty one knob plugin. The only time I participated in the Waves Black Friday Giveaway it was that goofy Pumper plugin.

 

Hey guys, you'd better watch this and learn stuff. You can tap custom rhythm for your delay, not just the tempo, and the delays will do the same pattern. You can rotate (not pan - rotate keeps the stereo width) each repeat individually, and put EQ on each repeat individually. So essentially you can use it kinda like Performer in NI Massive, but for delays and with EQ for each step. Give this lil' fella a fair chance.

Edit: also, remember it's just the GUI. You're laughing at SuperTap when TrueVerb looked like this:

They just didn't feel like remaking the GUI for that one, so what?

 

interesting, the last time I tried waves I get clicks anytime I tweaked a parameter with certain plugins, but I don't remember which.

Super Tab 6 gives me clicks all the time when adjusting the delay time if there is incoming audio for instance
