    Thanks for that kj. U have a rly nice voice, btw! I think most DAWs have bundled EQ w/ them, tho =) I must confess that Ableton's modular shit does impress me a lot, and it's much more elegant than most DAWs. I just hate being such a klutzy noob @ it! (still )=

    Anyway, that was rly useful idea. On Cubendo et al, I do most things thru MIDI, so I filter notes into a different (ie) channel (& output/process) that way, if needed. It's a bit of a pain to set up 2x instances =( but kinda SurferEQ on the cheap!

    For my part I mostly use the multiband dynamics instead of the EQ three to do this. :winker:
